My plan for summer was only finishing up last year's tops, and I have made a bit of progress there. But I simply cannot miss the opportunity to join the quilt-along with
Smazoochie! I have been admiring the zigzag quilts that are appearing everywhere....LeeAnn's, Sujata's, Kim's and Beth's, just to name a few...and I am jumping in with my black & whites. This graphic design is most exciting to me in these dog days of August. Getting a real charge!
Wow Helen, I would have never thought of using black and white for the zigzag but it looks awesome! Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Helen!! Can't wait to see the end result.

That looks tremendous! I have been spying those zig zag lovelies . . . . but should I really start another quilt? Huuuuuummmmmm. Maybe. ox
ReplyDeleteThat's going to be a stunning quilt! Bold and striking!
ReplyDeleteOh that is going to be beautiful! Love your fabric choices....I'll be watching :0)
ReplyDeleteHappy sewing
Looking good, Helen!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll join you and try it too.

I hope you will, Barb! Did you recognize the B&W fabrics you gave me ?
DeleteOoh, your black and white zigzag will be very striking!
ReplyDeleteI'm VERY eager to see this one develop! Will the blacks & whites run across the quilt top or will they be -- interrupted? Da da DAH! Stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteI thought I would try making a few blocks to play with. I never know how my quilts will go together; they seem to evolve. But I'm often helped by suggestions from other quilters.
DeleteAm about to start one myself... I LOVE your use of black and white fabrics!
ReplyDeleteWonderful....hope you will have fun with it, too!
