BWF

"Basting With Friends" is my new favorite pastime.  Had fun sewing my hexies with a local minigroup this week.  I know many quilters still do everything by hand...and are very productive, too.  They apparently are not addicted to "Words With Friends" like me.  My Monday Morning Star Count is 63 this week...not remarkable, but still growing.  Many thanks to my friends-- online and off--who give me  great ideas and support!

Do you have a target number in mind?

    1. No target number yet. Still haven't decided what to make. I have never made a classic Blue & White quilt, but always wanted one.

  5. Your blue and white reminds me of a beautiful china plate or vase. Lucky you to have local supportive quilting friends. Mine think I am nuts. Why would I want to sew something by hand, and it's so small.
P.s.-I am addicted to words with friends too, and candy crush. I love playing but sometimes wish I never started.

  6. Exquisite, Helen. I, too, have become addicted to hexies. I adore your blues. Especially that sweet little piggie. ;-)

  9. I love them, every one. So cute, crisp and clean looking. Navy ranks as a special color that deserves respect-not sure why; probably police uniform holdover from childhood. Anyway, they are coming along beautifully and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for their future.
