Up Close and Personal




Hand sewing is my most favorite way to create.  It's up close and gives me time to really see the color and design in each fabric as I go.  Reminds me of my piano teaching days and how I related to each student personally.  Also why I prefer walking to driving.  Takes me longer to get there, but I love the details along the way.  My Monday Morning Count is 9 more appliqued this week...and I know each and every one!

    You are right each one is a little gem of color and detail.

    Almost 70 here today, I'm off to do some more clean up after the ice storm!

    I agree, I like hand stitching, too. Are all of your hexagons from different fabrics? Beautiful!
