Was delighted to receive these beautiful fabrics from my friend Eri Sakakibara this week. She has given me many wonderful pieces from her unique stash for my Indigo Hexies. I feel very honored to work with them.
I have lost count of how many hexies I basted this week...
I guess about dozen got appliqued, but I would rather sew than count!
Lovely fabrics Helen - lucky you.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful indigos! I just love what you're doing with them too.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabrics! You are one lucky girl :) I love the indigos!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! A nice picture of you and your hexagons on Jessica's blog too!
ReplyDeleteShe got me going...and I can't seem to stop! :)
DeleteSuch a beautiful project: so simple, yet each piece of blue is like a little framed picture. Keep going! I totally agree: stitching rather than counting. As long as it keeps growing... JJ
ReplyDeletehow big are you going with this?
ReplyDeleteIt is long enough for a nap quilt, but not wide enough. Need more strips... I never know how big my quilts will be until I get there!
DeleteI love Eri's fabrics! Can't wait to see the finished quilt!
ReplyDeleteFabric presents are the best! And there are some real beauties in there. Lucky you!
