I want it big enough for a nap quilt, so I will just keep making strips until it covers me. I am thinking of adding a thin blue border and another wider white border. Will see when I get that far. I would love some suggestions tho!
Wow the spacing looks perfect did you measure the placement for each one? What a lovely quilt this will be.....have you thought about the hand quilting you will do?
i love how this looks --so so pretty. i have a question are you eye-balling the distance between the hexies or measuring?? your slow stitch progress is very apparent...so worth the time you are spending.
how big are you making this? will it be the main body of the quilt, or borders?

I don't know how I will quilt it, Kim. Any ideas?
DeleteI am not the biggest fan of blue but I think that this quilt has changed my mind! I really like the way this is shaping up! Great job Helen!

I calculated the distance between the hexies somehow...not a math genius here...but I wanted them to be equidistant...is that a word?
