Simple Gifts

My darling Pete planted these daffodils the fall before he died. They have become a most precious gift every spring. He's been gone four years today, and I still miss him terribly. But he was and still is the love of my life. I am so very grateful for the many happy years we had together.....and I am most grateful for all my beloved quilter friends who have been my support group ever since.

  1. Helen, How beautiful and moving. In your daffodils, you have a direct connection to Pete every spring when they bloom.
