Tripping to Paramus

Victoria is stitching her new fashion garment on the road! Yes, she is wearing her new take-along project and driving to New Jersey to visit the Brownstone Quilters meeting. This girl does not waste a minute when the light turns red!

We had such a beautiful outing, starting out at Encyclopedia's neighborhood. Isn't this a great color combo for a quilt? I think I see ochre next door to mauve and looking very good.

Speaking of color.....Gwen Marsden's trunk show was tops. Her lecture was as light hearted as her quilts. Well, I just think she is a treasure....and I would go anywhere to see her....and I do.

  2. I've seen Gwen twice, and took a class once. Still haven't finished that class project, though, lol - quilt colors are everywhere, aren't they? I noticed ochre and mauve in my living room oriental rug. :)
