It all started at Jessica's. I saw her helping Bernadette make a Fractured quilt, so I went home and whipped these up. So happy with them that I decided to take a 2-day class at Quilting By the Lake. Thought it would be a breeze. Wrong!!! The design was more complicated than I expected. But somehow....
...my teacher Kathy Doughty worked some magic and they all move in concentric zig-zags...
then more quilting magic by Victoria on her new long arm...and now it's off to the QBL show!!!
Beautiful! You do like the color blue. :) Good luck with the show.
ReplyDeleteHelen, I love it!!! (and I miss you-- Greece is great, but it would be better with more quilters.)
ReplyDeletebeautiful, another great quilt done!

Gorgeous! Nice variety in your blues and neutrals. I'm sure it will be a hit in the show. I'd be standing in front of it for a long time, maybe not in Kathy's pose...
ReplyDeleteDoesn't your Fractured look a beauty on the bed and beautifully quilted - which Victoria lived close by me!!
ReplyDeleteJust delightful, Helen, I really love the colors you have chosen and the quilting is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI really like magic like that! Good luck in the show, nicely done :0).
