Kinda like *our* patinas, right ?~! We grow into our faces and apply the "lines of passage": laugh wrinkles, pain creases, sorrow furrows... They all live on our visage telling the world a bit of our story without needing words.
I really like both versions. Interesting how very much the reds faded. I'm glad you included the pencil to show scale - at first I'd pictured it much bigger. Happy Fourth of July!
