Played with my basted hexies over the weekend. I am counting 114 and wanting to settle on an arrangement soon. I have just too many great options spinning round in my brain today!
So I am cutting more postage stamps from my pals' scraps instead. It's so much fun to play with others! Thank you for these happy lil' souvenirs from QBL...V, E, and Lisa!
I Love your Blue hexies
ReplyDeleteHow big are your hexies?? They look great. I am toying with starting a new hexie project with smaller hexies. Am I crazy? Probably. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteOh by all means, join the craze and start another! Mine are 2 1/2" I like the tinier ones, so I may have to do another, too!
DeleteHow do you measure hexagons anyway? Side to side they are 2 1/4" and point to point they are 2 1/2" I cut my own papers so I don't have a label to tell me.
DeleteSo far I have to say I like the tile effect of using the hexies where they have a nice negative space that you showed on in an earlier post.
ReplyDeleteOh boy gotta love those colors in your new postage stamps!
How many blocks do you have finished now?
Happy Sewing
Working on page fourteen now, with 64 stamps per page. Will be a while before I finish, but it's so darn much fun to play with these little cuties!
DeleteYou can't lose with those beautiful hexies!
ReplyDeleteI cut some pieces from a friend's scrap collection this week too - so fun to have some little elements to remind you of a friend while you're working. Your blues are looking lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour hexies look great in the rosette, saw a photo of you working on the hexies
ReplyDeletewith Victoria of Bumble Beans, also your fractured on Material Obsession post - you get around Helen!!
Love your hexies! I know what you mean about there being so many choices of how to arrange them.
