Woke up this morning to the sound of rain on the roof. Rats! I was planning to spend the day outdoors with my flowers. Never mind. Instead I will sew the binding on our Metro Mod group quilt. Just looking at this sunny quilt makes my day!
And what a lovely day to stay inside and make binding...smiles...I have a secret....once upon a time I dreaded...totally disliked the thought of binding...and the finishing with hand stitch...but I am actually starting to enjoying cutting it, ironing it, folding, and then stitching...eek....I hope i don't become a bindaholic...smiles...
Hmmm.....maybe it should get "lost" and live in your house for awhile. The good thing about Spring is that something will be blooming whenever you get a sunny day. Happy Easter. Bonnie
Those colors can brighten any day. So pretty. I'm looking forward to getting outside to plant some flowers and shrubs too. Pretty soon. Hugs to you Helen, Karen
Found you, Helen, thru Victoria's quilt show. You live on Long Island, I live in Rhode Island! Glad to be "following" you now. Nice bright quilt up there!
