Here Comes the Sun

Woke up this morning to the sound of rain on the roof. Rats! I was planning to spend the day outdoors with my flowers. Never mind. Instead I will sew the binding on our Metro Mod group quilt. Just looking at this sunny quilt makes my day!

  4. And what a lovely day to stay inside and make binding...smiles...I have a secret....once upon a time I dreaded...totally disliked the thought of binding...and the finishing with hand stitch...but I am actually starting to enjoying cutting it, ironing it, folding, and then stitching...eek....I hope i don't become a bindaholic...smiles...

  5. That is exactly what I am doing on this dreary rainy day binding and sewing! I just love the fabric you chose to bind this quilt in.... wonderful!

  6. Hmmm.....maybe it should get "lost" and live in your house for awhile. The good thing about Spring is that something will be blooming whenever you get a sunny day. Happy Easter. Bonnie
